My worship music is very important to me. It has been a huge part of my journey with God. Music has always been something I have found comfort in. But this is a new kind of comfort, a MUCH better one. What we surround ourselves with, what we what, and what we listen to matters. I can tell you it matters a lot more than I used to think it did.
When I started shifting what I listened to throughout the day, I noticed a major change in my mindset. Worship music isn’t just background noise—it’s a way to refocus my heart and mind on truth, even in the middle of chaos. Whether I’m doing dishes, folding laundry, or driving the kids around, having artists like TobyMac or Tauren Wells playing fills my home with peace and energy.
There’s something powerful about singing along to songs that remind me who God is and who I am in Him. Worship music lifts my spirit, encourages my soul, and brings me back to God’s promises even when life feels overwhelming.
And here’s the thing—our hearts are so affected by what we hear every day. Worship music helps drown out the lies the world tells us and replaces them with hope, truth, and grace.
